A lack of a blog post this week brought to you by this book:
Seriously. Can't put it down. And, you can't be upset, because that woman up there? She helped cure polio. She went to the moon. She was blown up by a neuclear bomb and then went on to help develop DNA indicators, cancer drugs, and cloning! All that and she's not even a vampire*.
What are you reading?
*Or a "Lich King who is using a glamour to look sparkly in the sun". According to Jon.
That book was starting at me when I got to the library this week. Checked it out on your recommendation..
ReplyDeleteAnd Edward as Lich King..priceless!
Hope you enjoy the book!
DeleteJonathan totally came up with the "Edward Cullen is really a Linch King" thing the other day and he couldn't believe I didn't know what a Linch King was!
That book is also in my queue. We should have a facetime/skype book talk!
ReplyDeleteGreat book! And, skype kinda freaks me out, but I'd be willing to use it for you guys!
DeleteTaper week - runners are not being lazy they are balancing their lives by educating themselves with highly intellectual material - it helps them run faster to be balanced. :-)
ReplyDeleteAt least past the hospitals accused of testing on humans without their consent it does!
DeleteWanted to read this book, but thought it would be depressing. You make the story sound exciting so I will pick the book up to read during winter vacation.
ReplyDeleteI found it really interesting, obviously, but more frustrating than depressing, except in the beginning, that part made me cry. I hope you like the book! Let me know!
